Dublin Mystery

Not too long ago I was walking through the Temple Bar area of Dublin -- a tourist area of ethnic restaurants, pubs small shops and art galleries - on my way to my barbershop when I spotted this representation of an Irish Wolfhound set into the kerbstone near to the front entrance to the Elephant and Castle Restaurant, 18 Temple Bar.

No one in the area knew anything about the stone and I have never seen any other stone in the area marked with anything.

Just another Dublin mystery.
