Computer Games

A recent study suggests that while games may not turn players into psychopaths, they can be bad for the family pet.

Australian pet ownership statistics have dropped 30 percent over the last seven years, a factor blamed on a wide range of issues, including people’s attention on computer games, and an increase in suburban living.

Games like Catz and Nintendo’s Nintendogs have historically been particularly popular in countries like Japan, where living styles frequently don’t support the addition of real furry friends to the family.
